"BELTPOINT was founded based on my experiences I made during the last years at IT manufacturers and integrators. Requirements for companies are changing not only because of market changes. Also a adjusted strategy, a change in the management team or new tools will alter the internal and external tasks of a company. The management will meet the challenge to gain the growth target and the stability also in time of crisis. BELTPOINT knows business processes and workflows, identifies the human factor within your changes and realizes your requirements on a technological level in a professional manner."
Dr. Günter Feuer, Director Professional Services
With a PhD in physics, after his study in information technology, a commercial education and more than 20 years of experience in the IT business, Dr. Günter Feuer has the technological competence to understand your problem, the analytical expertise and the process knowledge to structure it and the management experience to solve in – in a methodical, well targeted and cost efficient way.
He learned the art of projekt management at the private space laboratory "Weltrauminstitut Berlin GmbH". As director of the IT department at the "Informatik-Institut der Freien Universität Berlin" he acquired his wide technological background and first leadership skills. In the private economy he was responsible for one of the largest financial and banking networks in Europe and for several mission-critical infrastructures, which he was able to transform according to the changing requirements of the evolving markets and business processes and therefore he had a essential influence on the restructuring of the company. Furthermore he realized most complex projects in the field of technology, processes and change management as a long-time freelancer and project manager.
After his way through those "two cultures" of technology and management he understands the technical terminology of an IT engineer as well as the strategic goals of the CEO. His motto is "Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler" (A. Einstein)
Several projects in different industrial sectors for large and also for small and medium enterprises allow him to access a broad technological and strategic knowledge and experience.
"There can be no doubt that the major resource of an enterprise during the 21th century is knowledge, which is essential for the further development of a company. But without any integration into a specific context all knowledge is worthless. Information technology can only be a tool but never the solution of a problem. Problems can only be solved by experienced and competent people who know their tools as well as the challenges they face."
